About Dr. Emerson Lake
Dr. Emerson Lake is a local father, dentist and current Trustee for Placer Union High School District Area 4.
Emerson and his wife are raising five children in the local area, giving him a direct and personal stake in the future of our schools. He understands that strong schools are not just important to students and parents. They are important to neighborhoods, property owners, local employers and the entire community.
Emerson was appointed to serve on the Placer Union High School District Board in January 2025. Since then, he has approached the role with a simple belief: school board members should listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and keep the focus on students.
Professionally, Emerson practices dentistry in Roseville. His work has taught him the importance of earning trust, listening to people and solving problems with patience and precision. Those same values guide his service on the school board.
Emerson is running to continue serving Trustee Area 4 with steady, responsible and student-focused leadership.
Why Emerson Is Running
I am running because I believe our schools should prepare students for the real world.
That means strong academics. It means safe campuses. It means respecting parents. It means giving students pathways to college, careers, trades, military service and meaningful work. It also means being responsible with taxpayer dollars and making sure decisions are made transparently.
Our schools should never become a political playground. They should be a launchpad for students.
